Originally hailing from the Midwest, three members of Bedford Falls moved to San Diego to broaden their musical horizons. Their main goal was to become recognized as a musical force in the larger market of Southern Californoa. The other objective was to find a drummer compatible with the band's energy and vision. The latter was fulfilled when vocalist Heidi Faith, guitarist Nathan Shoaf, and bassist Cody Lee Herr found the attributes they were looking for in San Diegan Collin Tuthill. The band was now complete in the spring of '99
Bedford Falls began playing the local venues of San Diego and Los Angeles, such as Brick-By-Brick and the Whisky-A-Go-Go. The driving music backing the powerful voice of Faith ensured the band a steadily growing following of fans. Faith's lyrics, in conjunction with the music written by Shoaf and Herr shows a harmony that is rarely found in any band. That harmony is intensified with the consistency of Tuthill's drumming. With the reaction shown to their live performance, Bedford Falls decided to record a short 3 song demo disc in hopes of finding a larger audience.
